Former Lower Cape May Regional baseball star Josh Pennington announced his retirement this weekend from professional baseball. Pennington announced on social media that he will need a second major surgery on his arm, and he’s calling it a career. Pennington played professionally in both the Red Sox and Brewers’ farm systems.

ABC News reports that the world champion Philadelphia Eagles have been invited by President Trump to visit the White House on June 5th. There’s no word if the team has accepted the invitation since the team will be in the middle of voluntary workouts and practice during that time.
