Mackenzie McCracken will be playing college basketball at Philadelphia’s Holy Family University. Brian Cunniff of the Gazette Leader reports that McCracken has made the choice to play at the Division II school following an outstanding career at Wildwood High. The athletic director and two basketball coaches at Paterson East Side High School have been canned following a scandal that rocked the basketball program. The school recruited international players to come to school and play for the basketball team. The local Board of Education made the decision to can all three individuals this week. ##
Former Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles signed McGloin to a one year contract on Monday. He has played sparingly as a starter and backup in Oakland. Last year the Eagles kept only two quarterbacks on their active roster.
