The Philadelphia Eagles have acquired former Chicago Bears running back Jordan Howard. Howard was traded to the Eagles for a conditional sixth round draft pick in 2020. Howard is in the final year of a four year contract.
Phil Martelli’s nearly quarter century career in charge of the St. Joseph’s University men’s basketball program has come to an end. The university announced today that Martelli has been relieved of his duties as coach. Martelli’s squad made three appearances in the NCAA tournament over the past 11 years.
The referee who ordered Buena High School wrestler Andrew Johnson to cut off his dreadlocks before a match or forfeit is now reportedly asking for $100,000. TMZ reports that Alan Maloney wants the money for alleged defamation of character, and has not refereed any matches since the incident in December.
