Wildwood firefighters were able to put out a fire that was on the deck of a home on West Taylor Avenue Wednesday afternoon. The fire started on a second floor deck and it was doused in 20 minutes; there were no reported injuries. ##
A person fell from a second floor deck at a home located on J Avenue in West Wildwood on Tuesday. Wildwood Fire officials say the individual suffered a broken femur and head injuries, and was airlifted to an Atlantic City hospital. The victim’s name has not been released. ##

A six year old Philadelphia girl is dead after she drowned at a motel swimming pool over the weekend. The girl drowned at the Nantucket Inn and Suites; she was on vacation with family members. The girl was pronounced dead at Cape Regional Medical Center Saturday evening. ##

The Downtown Wildwood Marketplace will debut for the summer on July 6th. The marketplace event will offer about 20 vendors who will be selling everything from jewelery to clothing at the event that will run from 4pm until 9pm. Live music will be added to this year’s events. ##
