FALL FARMERS MARKETS BEGIN SATURDAY IN WILDWOOD
Wildwood’s Fall Farmer’s Markets begin this Saturday. The markets will be held on Saturday mornings through the end of October; free parking will be offered for all attendees.
WILDWOOD MAY CONSIDER BARS IN ADDITIONAL CITY ZONES
The Wildwood City Commission meets on Wednesday and is expected to consider a new ordinance that would allow bars to operate in additional zones in the city. The Commission may introduce a new ordinance that would allow bars in the P, BA, and B zones. Wednesday’s meeting begins at 3:30pm.
MOREYS WATER PARK GO TO THE DOGS ON SUNDAY
The Raging Waters water park on Morey’s Schellenger Landing pier goes to the dogs, literally, on Sunday. Sunday is the final day for the water park to be open and Morey’s Piers invites dog owners to bring their canines for some water fun. Proceeds from the event benefit a local animal charity.
BIKERS ARRIVE IN WILDWOODS FOR ROAR AT THE SHORE
Thousands of motorcycles are in the Wildwoods this weekend for the annual Roar to the Shore motorcycle rally. There will be live music and vending areas in center city Wildwood for the first post season event of the fall season. A Doors tribute band will play near the Convention Center Friday afternoon.
AUTHORITIES IDENTIFY MAN WHO DROWNED IN WILDWOOD
Authorities have identified the 35 year old Pennsylvania man who drowned while trying to save the lives of two children in the surf near Wildwood Sunday. Hany Mohamed disappeared in the ocean while trying to save the lives of his two children; the children were rescued by lifeguards.
WILDWOOD BEACH CONCERT THIS FRIDAY, TICKETS REMAIN
Tickets still remain for Wildwood’s beach concert that will occur this Friday as part of the Roar to the Shore motorcycle rally. BREAKING: PENNSYLVANIA MAN DROWNS OFF WILDWOOD BEACH
A 35 year old man from Middletown, Pennsylvania drowned off the Leaming Avenue beach in Wildwood Sunday afternoon. City police say the body of the man was ultimately found floating in the water at Rambler Avenue in Wildwood Crest. The identity of the victim has not been released. ##

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning for 89 year old Anthony Suppa, who passed away at the age of 89. WILDWOOD TO PUT AWARD BEACH CONCERT CONTRACT FOR 2018
The Wildwood City Commission is expected to award a $65,000 contract to AMT Business Group, LLC to stage three beach concerts in July, 2018. The group has a splash page website that includes Boardwalk Entertainment Company, incorporated just last month, along with some other businesses. ##
