Two teenagers have been charged with stealing about 20 iPads from an elementary school in Vineland. Vineland Police say they made the arrests following the October 9th burglary at the Sabater Elementary School. Surveillance cameras captured the suspects.
A Vineland man was sentenced to ten years in prison in connection with an accident that killed a teenager in Hamilton Township three years ago. Vineland Police say a 24 year old man from Bridgeton was struck and killed by a pickup truck early Sunday morning on South Delsea Drive. Police say the deceased is Oneismo Hernandez. The driver of the truck has been identified as 39 year old Edward Perez. So far no charges have been filed.
Traffic tragedy in Vineland early Sunday morning as a pedestrian was killed while crossing the street on South Delsea Drive around 1:30am. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries. No charges have been announced against the driver, also from Vineland.
A man was killed, and another man was seriously injured during a traffic accident Monday night in Vineland. City police say 23 year old Rishi Singh was killed when his pickup truck ran off the road and struck several trees. A passenger in Singh’s vehicle was airlifted to a local hospital.
