The Township Committee met this week and discussed various lighting and parking upgrades that will make the center safer at night. Some street lights may be getting LED bulbs to improve nighttime vision.
A natural gas pipeline will be coming to the Pinelands. The Pinelands Commission met Friday morning and approved the plan to run a 22-mile gas pipeline through the Pinelands to the B.L. England Generating Station in Upper Township. Some former governors have urged the Commission to oppose the pipeline plan.

The new complex would include 51 housing units and be constructed on an old soccer field located on Stagecoach Road.
