Stone Harbor’s 96th Street Bridge is undergoing repairs over the next several weeks that will result in overnight closures of the bridge during the week. County officials say the bridge may be restricted to one lane of traffic at times during weekdays to make repairs that are scheduled to be completed by June 9th. ##

School districts in Avalon and Stone Harbor announced a new joint website for both districts. The new website is avalonstoneharborschools.org and provides parents and potential students at the school with information on activities and education at both elementary schools. ##
Stone Harbor’s Borough Council meets Tuesday afternoon and is expected to discuss a new design for a police building. A presentation will be made to the public by Jerry Blackman and Ray Roberts. Council is also expected to approve a new fireman, and a shared services agreement with Avalon and Sea Isle City. ##
Stone Harbor is offering a public meeting over the weekend for another review of the municipal budget. The meeting will be held Saturday at 10:00am inside the municipal court room. The budget comes up for a final vote on Tuesday afternoon. ##
