A 20 year old South Jersey man has admitted that he forced a 17 year old girl into prostitution. Christopher K. White of Eastampton advertised the girl as an escort and exploited the victim. The girl was forced into prostitution at various motels over a ten day period two years ago.
A Vineland teenager has been arrested and charged with breaking into a home and robbing a woman of her jewelry at knifepoint. Police arrested 18 year old Phillip Frascella for the robbery, which occurred on the 2700 block of Barbara Drive. Frascella wore black clothing and a mask during the robbery.

25 year old Derrick Powers will be spending the next ten years of his life in prison for a guilty plea of robbery, armed robbery, and other offenses. Powers is connected to the slaying of teenager Nicole Angstadt back in 2015. Powers faced murder charges until an accomplice admitted to the killing.

The United States Coast Guard medivaced a man off a fishing boat who was experiencing chest pains. The airlift was performed about 90 miles off the coast of Atlantic City on Thursday afternoon. The 51 year old man was on board the 73-foot fishing boat Connor and Michael.
The new municipal budget in Lower Township includes no increase in the local purpose tax rate. Township Manager Jim Ridgeway presented the budget to Council Monday night. Approximately $3 million in surplus would be applied to the budget to help keep the tax rate stable.
One person is dead and 11 others are injured following a head-on motor vehicle accident in Vineland early Thursday morning. The Daily Journal reports that the crash occurred on Mill Road in the city’s industrial park. One of the vehicles involved in the accident was a van, with multiple passengers inside.
