The United States Coast Guard medevaced a 51 year old man off a commercial fishing boat about 65 miles off Atlantic City Sunday. The man was on board board the “Settler”; he had difficulty breathing. The man was taken to the Atlantic City Medical Center for treatment.
The Lower Township Council meets Monday night and is expected to pass a resolution that will approve the acceptance of in-person credit cards for tax payments. Council will also accept a $7 million bid for the big Rosanne Avenue Roadway and Utility Improvement Project. Council meets Monday at 7pm.
The Wildwood City Commission meets Wednesday afternoon and is expected to adopt an ordinance that changes the zoning map in the city. The Commission may also transfer city owned land to Habitat for Humanity, and could amend its ordinance regarding handicap parking.
