Four adults have been hit with drug charges at the Rio Grande motel. Police say the four suspects were in possession of heroin, meth, marijuana, Xanax, and drug paraphernalia. All four suspects were released on a summons; the Silver Birch Motel is located on Route 47 in Rio Grande.
Riot charges have now been filed in connection with the weekend fight at the Hamilton Mall that closed the building Saturday evening. Police say five juvenile boys and two adults were arrested and additional charges were filed this week. Most of the suspects were from Mays Landing and Atlantic City.
There was another accident involving a school bus in New Jersey Thursday. A bus tipped onto its side near a New York Bridge; four students and one adult had minor injuries. The bus was returning to Brooklyn from a trip to the Garden State.

Free music at Lower Cape May Regional High School Friday evening. The United States Coast Guard announced that its band will be performing a free concert at the high school Friday from 7-9pm, and will follow up with a performance at a Philadelphia casino on Saturday. The band consists of 55 members.
