A 33 year old South Jersey man was charged with lewdness and other offenses after he admitted to Glassboro Police that he was gratifying himself sexually while driving his car. Timothy Wilgus was spotted by a woman performing the act; she reported it to local police.
A Burger King restaurant in the New Jersey community of Denville was the scene of newborn births on back to back evening last weekend. Police were called to the fast food restaurant last Friday night, and again on Saturday night, for moms delivering their newborns. Both infants are safe and sound.
Ocean City is searching for volunteers to join its emergency response team. City officials say they will be holding a series of training classes for volunteers on Tuesday evenings, starting September 19th. The classes end before Christmas.

The third annual conference for Unmanned Aerial Systems will be held in Cape May next month. County officials announced that the conference will be held at the Cape May Convention Center from October 16-18th. The conference focuses on drones and drone technology.
The number of summertime traffic fatalities dipped slightly this summer, compared to last year. There were 183 traffic deaths in the Garden State this summer, down by five from the summer of 2016. Locally, there were five traffic fatalities in Cape May County this summer.
Wildwood Crest is making final preparations for its annual Seafarer’s celebration that’s coming on September 23rd. James Kauffman will be arraigned in a few weeks on charges that he produced a handgun as authorities raided his medical office in Atlantic County. Kauffman has been held in jail since he was taken into custody back in June.
