Legal bets were accepted Wednesday afternoon at both the Ocean Resort Casino and the Hard Rock Casino, one day before they were officially scheduled to open. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for 81 year old Rita Best of Wildwood Crest. Best was the former owner and operator of the Wagon Wheel Flower and Gift Shop in the community. Best also owned and operated the popular “Fun Shop” for two decades.
