The parent company of Frank Movie Theaters in Rio Grande has filed for bankruptcy. The company filed for protection from its creditors and also owns movie theaters in Atlantic County, along with the Rio Mall in Rio Grande.
West Cape May’s Borough Commission meets today and could issue a new liquor license. The Commission has an item on its agenda that could potentially award one plenary consumption license in the community. The license has been put out to bid.

Middle Township will not be condemning about four dozen properties in a proposed redevelopment zone along Indian Trial Road. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Township agreed this week not to condemn the properties as it attempts to create some redevelopment in that corridor.
The man who found April Kauffman murdered in her home testified on Tuesday in court. William Gonzalez was the first to find Kauffman slain in the home she shared with her husband. The defense passed on an opportunity to interview Gonzalez; testimony in the case resumes Wednesday morning.
