Bridgeton Police have arrested a 47 year old man and charged him with stealing a large number of gutters from an abandoned house. Police found Joseph Mills pushing a shopping cart full of gutters that he allegedly swiped from a home on South Avenue Wednesday night.
Vineland Police have identified this week’s fatal shooting victim as 24 year old Amir El-Basirbey. The victim was fatally shot Wednesday when intruders broke into his home and killed him. No suspects are in custody; police are looking for the public’s help with information that can solve the crime.

Six people have been charged with various narcotics offenses by Middle Township Police following three separate drug busts. Police are telling us two of the busts occurred at the Wildwood Park Motel while the third bust took place on East Main Street in Edgewood. Vineland Police say a 24 year old man was shot to death inside his home on Foster Avenue Wednesday morning. The Daily Journal reports that the man was pronounced dead at the scene, and he was a victim of a home invasion crime involving several armed men.
