One of Governor Phil Murphy’s first major acts as the leader of New Jersey is to sign an executive order that mandates equal pay for women. Murphy held a press conference Tuesday afternoon to announce this new policy and signed the order to make it law in the Garden State.
New Jersey State Police are seeking the man who robbed a branch of Fulton Bank Monday in Upper Deerfield Township. Police say the man walked into the branch, handed the teller a note, and drove away in a red pickup truck. So far, the suspect is not in custody.

A third grade student at the Holly Heights Elementary School in Millville was found with marijuana in his backpack. The Daily Journal reports that the student had a Ziploc bag with about an ounce of pot. Police say the student will not be charged.
