Coastal Broadcasting Systems has learned that democratic incumbent Jeff DeVico has a very early lead over republican Ike Gandy in a race for a Township Committee seat. Absentees have given DeVico a 74 vote lead over Gandy with all of the votes cast at polling places still to be tallied up.

There were 5.8 million registered voters in the Garden State this year, with 2.2 million democrats and only 1.3 million republicans. SCHOOL PRINCIPAL HEADED TO COURT WEDNESDAY ON CHILD PORN CHARGES
The 48 year old principal of Pleasantville High School is expected to be in court Wednesday, accused of having more than 1,000 images of child pornography. Edward James Bonek of Absecon has been formally indicted on the charges. Bonek has been held in the Cape May County Jail since his arrest in August.
