Funeral services will be held Friday in Sea Isle City for 89 year old Marie Zielinski, who died during a stubborn house fire last week. Zielinski was killed when her home and two other properties were engulfed in flames. Services will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Sea Isle.
Wildwood Police will participate in a toy drive basketball game against Wildwood High students to raise money for the Pinch the Grinch Toy Drive. The game will be held at the high school gym this Thursday evening. Proceeds from the game will result in local children having a more enjoyable holiday season.
A fire destroyed a shed and set off fireworks in Franklin Township Monday at a company that puts on many shows here at the Jersey Shore. The fire started at Pyrotechnico and resulted in multiple fire units being dispatched. One employee of the company suffered an injury in the fire.

A 58 year old woman from Virginia was charged with DUI and other offenses following a three vehicle accident in Atlantic City over the weekend. City police say Cynthia Kazura was speeding on Huron Avenue when she collided with another vehicle. Kazura was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam made no comment to the public after he left his home early Monday afternoon. Throughout the morning, the FBI and the IRS were inside Gilliam’s home, armed with search warrants.
