Over $100,000 won by underage gamblers at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City have been seized by state officials. The Borgata’s online gaming partner has also been fined $81,000 for allowing underage gamblers to play. The action was taken by the State Division of Gaming Enforcement, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

New Jersey State Police are searching for 30 year old Shaquan D. King of Bridgeton for allegedly stealing $1,600 worth of medicine from Acme supermarkets in Delaware. King and another accomplice allegedly stole the over the counter medication. They were driving a 2011 gray Nissan Maxima with New Jersey plates.
Two people were airlifted to Cooper Hospital in Camden early Tuesday morning after being shot during an incident at a home on West Broad Street. Police say two men entered the home and a struggle began. The shooter left the home on foot. Police have no suspects in custody.
Two Family Dollar stores in southern New Jersey are among the 143 stores that will be closing nationwide. NJ.com reports that Family Dollar stores located in Bridgeton and Pennsville will both close under the reorganization plan. Dollar Tree is the parent company of Family Dollar.
Woodbine is receiving a $200,000 state grant for the partial reconstruction of Sumner Avenue. Officials announced today that the grant is coming from the New Jersey Department of Transportation for street and stormwater work along that roadway.
