Lower Township Police will hold its monthly Cop Stop this Saturday at Dunkin Donuts in North Cape May. Officer Mike Nuscis will be there for three hours starting at 10am to answer questions regarding public safety practices in the Township, and to get feedback from residents.
Thursday is the day when the increase in the minimum wage comes up for a full vote in the New Jersey Assembly. Lawmakers approved legislation Monday in Trenton that would hike the wage to $15 an hour within five years.
A New Jersey man has been accused of making child pornography with victims who appear to be less than one year of age. 34 year old Sebastien Attar had the pornography inside his home in Brick. Attar appears in the images, naked with the children.
Authorities in Cumberland County are searching for the person who shot a cat with an arrow at close range. The arrow was surgically removed from the cat, named Audrey, and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office is trying to determine who is responsible. The cat will have stitches removed later in the week.
The next owner in line for the failed Revel Casino, now known as Ocean Resort Casino..the Luxor Capital Group. The hedge fund is the next owner of the casino, taking over from Bruce Deifik. A trust will run the casino until Luxor gets formal permission to operate it.

Vineland Police have identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed during an accident Saturday morning. 57 year old Jeffrey Cuss was struck by a vehicle driven by a 31 year old woman near his home. Police say no charges have been filed.
Middle Township will hold a free rabies clinic for dogs and cats on Saturday. The clinic will be held at 2pm at the Cape May Court House Fire Company on Hand Avenue, for one hour.
