The annual Boardwalk Basketball Classic event tips off this Saturday with special games featuring local teams, and sponsored by Crest Savings Bank. Then the tournament takes a break until Wednesday when full slates of action will occur on both the girls and boys courts.

Three people have been charged in connection with the violent carjacking of a Lyft driver in Atlantic City earlier this week. Police say they are still searching for two individuals connected to the case. The driver was beaten, pepper sprayed, and removed from his vehicle Monday evening. One juvenile is connected to the crime.

44 year old Cinnamon Corley of Millville has been indicted on charges that she contributed to the death of her disabled son who died at the age of 24, weighing only 73 pounds. A grand jury indicted Corley on very serious charges that could result in a life term in prison, if convicted.
