North Wildwood Police have alerted the public about some road detours that will be established Sunday morning. The Mud Hen Half Marathon will take place Sunday and detours will be set up from 6:30am until 11:30am in some sections of the community, including on JFK Beach Drive, Surf Avenue, and Central Avenue.
Funeral services will be held Saturday in Woodbine for former Woodbine Councilman Joseph Schweibinz. Schweibinz passed away earlier this week at the age of 82. Services will be held at St. Casimir Church, with a viewing starting at 9:00am.
A 16 year old boy from Buena Vista Township is dead following an ATV accident in Hamilton Township. The accident occurred Wednesday around 5:30pm. Officers found the ATV overturned after it struck a tree. The teen was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
An inconvenience for Cape May residents and businesses late Wednesday afternoon as a power outage impacted the community. The power went out in a good portion of the community after 5:00pm Wednesday, and it remained off for a little over an hour. There was an issue at a substation that caused the outage.

A 40 year old Galloway Township man was convicted on murder charges Wednesday stemming from a shooting that occurred nearly four years ago. A jury convicted Dennis Munoz in connection with the shooting death of 31 year old Michael Black in Mays Landing. Another suspect was acquitted during the trial.
