The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for Cape May County for Sunday evening’s high tide. The tide tide event could result in up to one foot of salt water inundation in low lying areas this evening. High tide will occur this evening generally between 9:00-9:30pm, exercise caution while driving.
The Atlantic City Blackjacks won their first-ever Arena Football League game at home on Saturday. Atlantic City knocked off Columbus, 42-35 to improve their record to 1-1. Their next game is in Washington on May 11th at 7:00pm.

Wildwood Crest is making additional beach storage boxes available this summer. Crest officials announced that an additional 65 storage boxes will be made available for public rent on the beach starting Monday, May 13th. All reservations will be taken on a first come, first served basis. The seasonal rental fee is $400.
A new Conference Room located on the third floor of the Cape May Court House was dedicated to former longtime Surrogate Robert Hentges. Hentges served as the Surrogate for Cape May County for 42 years. He was the longest serving surrogate in the State of New Jersey.
A 55 year old Egg Harbor Township man has pleaded guilty to a charge of Witness Tampering. John Kachbalian will spend one year in jail on his charge. He was arrested at his home last August.
