The Delaware River and Bay Authority will be holding a media event on Thursday to promote a new commercial air service between the Wilmington-New Castle Airport and Orlando, Florida. Frontier Airlines will be on hand to celebrate the first flight between the two locations later this week. A 180-seat Airbus A320 will provide the service.
A man who has worked on the Avalon beaches since 1955 has retired. Longtime Avalon Beach Patrol captain Murray Wolf has retired. Avalon has named Matt Wolf as the new Chief of the Beach Patrol, and Ryan Black will serve as Captain. Both Wolf and Black have worked on the Avalon beaches as lieutenants.
Cape May County reported 34 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday. 22 of those new cases were in Lower and Middle townships. Only Stone Harbor and West Wildwood have zero resident active cases.
