56 year old John Deangelis of the Villas has been charged with one count of luring after authorities learned of a video that was being circulated on social media. Authorities say Deangelis was taken into custody on Thursday, and has been lodged at the Cape May County Jail.
An event promoter with past ties to Wildwood has been sentenced to four years probation on a third degree charge of theft. Amanda Thomas was sentenced Friday in connection with the charge; she will not serve time in prison. Thomas was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Michael Donohue.
