A motor vehicle struck a house in Millville Wednesday which sparked a fire that killed a cat inside the home. It happened on Buck Street Wednesday afternoon; natural gas caused the fire following the accident. There were no injuries to humans; a family dog also survived the fire.
The 42 year old woman accused of killing her mother and grandmother in Ventnor earlier this summer will be back in court on Thursday. Heather Barbera is currently held in the Atlantic County Jail. She allegedly killed both women, then fled to New York City.
Pleasantville High School principal Edward Bonek was in court Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to child pornography and weapons offenses. Bonek is accused of using a file sharing network to look at the images. It’s possible another court hearing will be held in two weeks.

Stone Harbor officials say their new public safety building will be used starting next Monday. The Borough’s police department will move in to a new police building that replaces an older structure that was plagued with issues.
