A home belonging to a firefighter in Mullica Township, Atlantic County went up in flames early Monday morning. Authorities say the fire began in the home around 4am and spread throughout the house. The home is said to be a total loss; there were no injuries.
The long reconstruction of the county’s Ingram’s Thorofare Bridge in Middle Township begins Tuesday. Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner is being sued by a Delaware bank because he defaulted on a loan. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Tyner owed Discover Bank over $8,500 on the loan. The suit was filed in Atlantic County Superior Court last month.
