A 42 year old man was fatally struck by a passing motor vehicle in Absecon on Thursday. Police say Emilio Portillo-Sanchez was killed on Route 30 near Mill Road. The identity of the driver has not been released, and the investigation into the accident continues.
Ocean City will used trained raptors in order to prevent seagulls from stealing human food on the city’s boardwalk. Mayor Jay Gillian announced that the mere presence of the raptors will be enough to keep the seagulls away from the boardwalk naturally. The anti-seagull birds are hawks, falcons, and owls.
A 36 year old Pennsylvania man was handed a half century in prison for a murder at the Wingate Hotel in Vineland back in 2016. Larry Pulcine of Duncansville was handed the sentence in connection with the killing of Ivan Scott Strayer II. Strayer was shot three times.

Atlantic City Police are now strictly enforcing a curfew law in response to shootings that claimed the lives of three people. The curfew law requires that no juveniles be on the streets past 10pm without adult supervision. Officers will only make exceptions for those who are coming home from a paid job.
