Ocean City Police have charged three adults with drugs and weapons offenses following a search warrant that was executed in the 900 block of Wesley Avenue. Police found several weapons including an AR-15 rifle, drugs, and $10,000 in cash during the raid. All of the suspects are from Ocean City.

Sea Isle City is planning a new kayak launch facility at Dealy Field. The city announced that the concept will be ADA compliant and include a passive pier for wildlife viewing. The city is applying for the various permits needed for the facility.

35 members of New Jersey Task Force One were deployed Wednesday night to Alabama to assist with relief from Hurricane Michael. Two K9 specialists from the New York Task Force One are also making the trip. The group will be staged at Maxwell Air Force base in Montgomery, according to State Police.

39 year old Joseph Brodie of Millville has been convicted on charges that he made threats against the lives of outgoing Congressman Frank LoBiondo and members of his staff. Brodie was on a trial for making threats; now that’s he’s been convicted, Brodie could face up to ten years in prison.
Avalon’s Borough Council met Wednesday afternoon and approved funding for a new park that will sit adjacent to the recreation building. Avalon has secured a $2 million grant for the project which will begin this month. Avalon’s Council also approved a preliminary design associated with relieving flooding in the north end beach blocks.
