Four men have been formally charged this week with the killing of a 37 year old football coach Joseph Jones of Millville two months ago. The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office say Jone was murdered while attending a practice at Lakeside Middle School; he suffered gunshot wounds in broad daylight.

Ocean City Police have charged three adults with drugs and weapons offenses following a search warrant that was executed in the 900 block of Wesley Avenue. Police found several weapons including an AR-15 rifle, drugs, and $10,000 in cash during the raid. All of the suspects are from Ocean City.

Sea Isle City is planning a new kayak launch facility at Dealy Field. The city announced that the concept will be ADA compliant and include a passive pier for wildlife viewing. The city is applying for the various permits needed for the facility.
