Bus Accident Injures More Than a Dozen in Absecon

County Makes Trip to Canada to Stump for Tourism Opportunities

Cape May County tourism officials concluded a recent trip to Canada to re-establish a tourism base following the Covid-19 pandemic.  The “Reconnect Canada” campaign was launched after the 2021 tourism campaign.  The marketing trip included a trip to Quebec City.  During the summer, Canadian visitors represent between seven and nine percent of the tourism population.…

Crest Man Charged With Assault on Police Officer

Police in Wildwood Crest have charged 46 year old Alberto Candelaria after he allegedly assaulted a police officer who responded to a complaint of a disturbance Monday night.  Police say Candelaria pushed police officer Brian Harrison, and resisted arrest.  He was released pending a court date.
