Route 9 between Avalon Boulevard and Route 83 is closed until about 2pm today. Middle Township Police report that downed utility pole closed the roadway this morning. No word on the nature of the incident that brought the pole down.

18 year old Nahquil Lovest has been indicted on aggravated manslaughter charges in connection with this summer’s killing of a 15 year old Pleasantville girl in Atlantic City.
