One person was reportedly killed during a house fire in Lower Township Friday morning. Various reports suggest the fire occurred in the Villas, on Florida Road, and was brought under control. Lower Township Police will release more information about the fire later today.

Middle Township and New Jersey State Police are both attempting to return items that were stolen from their rightful owner. Police say the items were taken as a result of a burglary and theft investigation in Middle Township. A photo of some of the items appears on this webpage.
Two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with a December 26th stabbing in Vineland. Authorities say 20 year old Keison Burr and a teenager have both been charged with attempted homicide and robbery. The victim survived and was robbed of his vehicle and $300 in cash.

A Millville police officer was struck by an ATV on New Year’s Day and the driver of the vehicle was arrested. Police say 38 year old Russell Hyson of Millville was arrested at these scene and taken to the Cumberland County Jail on numerous offenses, including assault by auto.
