President Trump will visit Wildwood on January 28th. The President will make a stop at the Wildwood Convention Center along with Congressman Jeff Van Drew. The rally will begin at 7pm, but doors are expected to open four hours earlier. Tickets are available for free, while they last, on the President’s website.
The Delaware Memorial Bridge handled a record 18.2 million vehicles during 2019. That eclipses the previous record that was set in 2016 by over 400,000 vehicles. The bridge experienced its best single month in history in August with 1.8 million customers using the span.

A 15 year old student at Buena Regional High School has died as a result of injuries he suffered in a crash on Christmas Day. State Police say Cohen Riggs was a passenger in a vehicle that crossed into the eastbound lanes of Route 40 and collided with another car.
Amy Kennedy has joined the already crowded democratic field in an attempt to secure the nomination for a congressional seat in our district. Kennedy announced today that she is seeking her party’s support. She is the wife of former Rhode Island congressman Patrick Kennedy and lives in Brigantine.
An 18 year old man was killed when he drove his vehicle into a utility pole in Egg Harbor Township Saturday morning. Police say the accident occurred on Delaware Avenue in Bargaintown. Brayan Serrano was killed when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road.
Governor Phil Murphy has ordered flags to fly at half staff on Thursday for Sgt. 1st Class Michael J. Goble of Westwood who was killed during a roadside bombing in Afghanistan last month. Goble will be laid to rest Thursday at Arlington National Cemetery; he was 33 years old
Upper Township will swear in two incumbent committee members during its reorganization meeting on Monday. John Coggins and Hobart Young will take their respective oaths of office. Nominations will be taken for mayor; a deputy mayor will also be appointed. The meeting begins Monday at 6pm.
The Cape May municipal government will reorganize during a meeting Tuesday morning. Council will accept nominations for the position of Deputy Mayor, and fill various seats on committees and boards. Neil Young will be named Interim City Manager until a new hire is complete.
