The man who jumped to his death from a Borgata Casino hotel room this week has been identified as 25 year old Eric Zaun. Zaun was a professional beach volleyball player who jumped from the 29th floor of the casino Tuesday afternoon. Police say it appears to have been a suicide.

The Lower Township Police Department has received donations for Narcan from the CURE ministry of the Lighthouse Church in Burleigh, and the Greg DiAntonio Memorial Foundation of Wildwood. When applied immediately, Narcan can save a life during an opioid overdose. Narcan has been used in the United States for nearly a half century.

The Ventnor woman accused of killing her mother and grandmother with a motive of greed will have a court appearance on Thursday. Heather Barbera is accused of killing both women last July and her appearance may result in a trial date being set. She pleaded not guilty to the crime in October.
