A 55 year old North Jersey man has been arrested this week for having 45,000 images of child pornography in his possession. August Blew of High Bridge was charged with one count of second degree child endangerment.

Stockton University has received an $8 million donation from Avalon resident John Scarpa. Scarpa donated the funding to the university, which promptly renamed two buildings in honor of the donation. Scarpa was involved in the first publicly traded cellular company in the United States.

The Burlington Bristol Bridge is closed until further notice. The bridge closed early this morning after a vehicle struck a guardrail and severely damaged it. Repairs will have to be made to the bridge before it is allowed to re-open.
