A fire that caused significant damage to a home on 102nd Street in Stone Harbor Sunday afternoon was ruled accidental in nature. Fire crews responded to the home around 1:00pm Sunday and found flames and smoke at the rear of the property. One person lived at the home, but made it out with no injuries.
A 53 year old pedestrian was struck and killed by a motor vehicle in Egg Harbor Township over the weekend. Police say Pamela Thieman was struck by a car driven by a man with a suspended drivers license. The accident occurred on Tilton Road Sunday evening.
North Wildwood Police have nabbed a 37 year old man who was squatting inside a shed on 23rd Avenue. City police announced the arrest of Matthew Loughlin who was staying inside the shed; stolen construction tools from a job site were also discovered. Loughlin was taken to jail on burglary and theft charges.

Ocean City officials held a public meeting on Saturday to discuss the settlement of a court-imposed affordable housing obligation. Affordable housing units at existing locations will be expanded, and a new building will be constructed next to Bayview Manor. The burden will cost the city $15 million.
