Public gatherings of 250 people or more should be cancelled in New Jersey. That’s the word from Governor Phil Murphy, who held a press conference to update the public on the threat of coronavirus. Murphy says the Garden State is in a “public health emergency”.
There are six new cases of coronavirus in New Jersey, bringing the state’s total to 29. State Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli announced that a teenager from Englewood tested presumptive positive. To date, there are no cases in Cape May County reported.
