Firemen were able to douse a house fire that started in the basement inside a home on Head of the River Road in Belleplain. The fire started late Tuesday night and was responded to by local fire districts. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
A 61 year old man on board a fishing boat was medevaced by the United States Coast Guard Wednesday off the coast of Cape May. The unidentified man was hoisted off the boat and taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. No word on the man’s identity or condition.
