A man was shot to death, allegedly by a police officer, in Buena Vista Township Atlantic County Monday afternoon. A man reportedly stole a police vehicle from Franklin Township Police and led officers on a chase. He was stopped a short time later and shot to death by police.
Cape May County officials reported the death of a 64 year old man from Dennis Township, from coronavirus. The County announced 21 new positive tests on Monday. Nearly 27,000 County residents are now fully vaccinated.
New Jersey officials believe the cases of coronavirus will continue to grow before they flatten out, possibly for good. State officials say New Jersey should see a peak in about two weeks. On Monday, fewer than 3,000 new cases of the virus were reported, along with 15 deaths.

A 78 year old man is the latest victim of coronavirus in Cape May County. The County reported only 14 new cases of the virus on Sunday. Four of the new cases are in Upper Township. Nearly 27,000 County residents are now fully vaccinated.
