The Forever 21 store may close suddenly at the Hamilton Mall in Atlantic County. Store officials say three stores are being considered for immediate closure in South Jersey, including the location at the Hamilton Mall. The retailer is going through bankruptcy proceedings.

Police in Galloway Township say a man driving a minivan attempted to lure a teenage girl into the vehicle on Tuesday. The incident took place on East Great Creek Road late Tuesday morning. The girl fled the scene and contacted her parents.
A man was shot in the face, his dog shot to death during a home invasion robbery in Vineland early Tuesday morning. The Daily Journal reports that the 22-year old man was shot in the face and taken to Cooper Hospital. The shooting took place at a home on Sunset Avenue.
Another big beach fill project is coming to Cape May County. The United States Army Corps of Engineers will be placing 2.4 million cubic yards of sand on beaches in Ocean City, Strathmere, and Sea Isle City. Avalon is next in line to get a beach fill; that project should begin later this month.
New Jersey now has a documented death as a direct result of vaping. The New Jersey Department of Health announced that the woman died in August; her identity has not been revealed. There are also 14 cases of lung disease from vaping in the Garden State.
Some traffic detours will be in place in Wildwood Wednesday. Police say Hand Avenue, between Susquehanna and Arctic avenues, will be paved on Wednesday. There will also be various milling operations on some other local streets.
The former Atlantic Club casino in Atlantic City has been sold. TJM Properties of Florida sold the empty gaming building to a a New York based company. The building was sold with a deed restriction saying it can no longer be a casino.
Middle Township Police Department Sgt. Francis Fiore ended his duty with the department on Monday. Fiore retired after a long career of law enforcement with the department. Stone Harbor police officers will be wearing pink badges through the month of October. The police department announced on social media that members will wear pink badges to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
