A major traffic headache in central Jersey Monday when power lines fell on the Garden State Parkway near Middletown. Two workers were injured during the mishap which brought traffic to a standstill around milepost 109. The scene was cleared and traffic was getting back to normal early Monday afternoon.
The Wildwood Fire Department held its annual Medal Day celebration over the weekend. The event was held on Saturday and recognized firefighters who went above and beyond the line of duty. 14 awards were part of the ceremony.
