The Wildwood Fire Department held its annual Medal Day celebration over the weekend. The event was held on Saturday and recognized firefighters who went above and beyond the line of duty. 14 awards were part of the ceremony.
Avalon will host a Memorial Day parade and ceremony next Monday. Borough officials say the parade will step off at 32nd Street and Dune Drive and proceed north to Veterans Plaza, starting at 11am. The parade is hosted by American Legion Post #331.
