Newark Police are continuing their investigation into a shooting death that involved a police officer. 24-year police veteran John Formisano is accused of fatally shooting his ex-wife, and then shooting her boyfriend. Formisano was taken into police custody early this morning.
Atlantic City Police are investigating the shooting of a man early Saturday morning on North Massachusetts Avenue in the city. Police say the victim of the shooting was a 24 year old man, who remains unidentified. The gunman remains at large.
4-H fair week has arrived in Cape May County. The Fair begins Thursday and will run through Saturday. It’s the 50th anniversary of the foundation that runs the fair that includes livestock, a children’s farm, RC car racing, and of course, food.

An Atlantic City police officer who won $40,000 in a whistleblower lawsuit should be entitled to sue for punitive damages, says an appellate court. Frank Timek won the judgement after he reported misconduct by another officer. Timek was assigned to another unit in the department after filing the complaint.
