Some traffic detours will be in place in Wildwood Wednesday. Police say Hand Avenue, between Susquehanna and Arctic avenues, will be paved on Wednesday. There will also be various milling operations on some other local streets.
The former Atlantic Club casino in Atlantic City has been sold. TJM Properties of Florida sold the empty gaming building to a a New York based company. The building was sold with a deed restriction saying it can no longer be a casino.
Middle Township Police Department Sgt. Francis Fiore ended his duty with the department on Monday. Fiore retired after a long career of law enforcement with the department.
