Vineland Police are reporting a shooting Thursday night in the parking lot of the Cumberland Mall. Police say a 28 year old man was shot multiple times in the parking lot. The victim was taken to Cooper Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. Police believe the shooter and the victim knew each other.
North Wildwood Police have made an arrest in connection with an assault on the city’s boardwalk. Police had issued photos of the suspect they were looking for and announced Friday they have charged a 17 year old male from Turnersville. Gasoline prices went up by three cents per gallon in one week in Cape May County. The average price for a gallon of gas locally iw now $.308, which is two cents above the state average. Last year, gasoline prices were $1.02 per gallon cheaper.

One person was killed during a two vehicle accident on Route 49 in Cumberland County. The accident took place Monday night in Fairfield Township. The driver of the vehicle headed westbound lost control of the car and hit the other vehicle. The car burst into flames, and the driver who caused the accident was killed.
