A child that fell from the second floor balcony inside of the Channels Apartment has since been released from the hospital. Lower Township Police say that a three-year-old fell off the balcony and was taken to Cooper University Hospital. Police have yet to release details on what exactly took place. An investigation does remain open.
A drowning is being investigated in Ocean City. Police there say a man drowned in the area of the 8th St. beach. He was transported to the Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Police are withholding the man’s name at this time.
A vehicle hit a man in Wildwood, which sent a North Wildwood man to the hospital. Police say the incident took place on Saturday and the victim, Mehmet Veral was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. No charges have been filed against the driver.
