It’s a very sad day in the local sports community as former Holy Spirit High School football coach Bill Walsh has passed away. Walsh succumbed to Lou Gehrig’s Disease Friday morning at his home in Galloway. Walsh was diagnosed less than three years ago. He coached the Spartans for five seasons, beginning in 2003.

Van Drew says the issue is important in his district as there is only one cable company to choose from.
