A.C. AIRPORT EXPANSION BEGINS TODAY

A $25 million project to expand Atlantic City International Airport begins today. For the next 18 months, the airport will undergo a 75,000 square foot expansion, beginning with a groundbreaking ceremony today. AC International saw a significant increase in passengers during the past year and is looking to increase the number of flights and destinations.

An agreement was reached between council and Lower Township Manager Kathy McPherson. Council will keep her on until March 4, 2011.
