About 800 new jobs are coming to South Jersey courtesy of Amazon’s intentions to construct a fulfillment center in Salem County. NJ Advance Media reports today that the center will open during the latter part of 2021. The center will be over one million square feet.
Congressman Jeff Van Drew will square off against democratic challenger Amy Kennedy in their only scheduled debate Thursday evening. Both candidates will participate in a debate sponsored by Stockton University. The debate will be televised on NJTV news and there will be no live audience.
Cape May County reported 16 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday. Multiple new cases were reported in Lower, Middle, and Upper townships, along with Ocean City and Woodbine. No additional non-resident cases were reported on Wednesday.

Cape May County added seven new resident cases of coronavirus on Tuesday. Two cases were reported in both Lower Township, and in Woodbine. The number of active County cases has dropped to 90. There are only nine active non-resident cases.
