VERIZON WORKERS GO ON STRIKE IN NEW JERSEY

Verizon workers are now on strike in New Jersey.  Thousands of Verizon employees decided to go on strike Sunday morning after a new labor deal with the telecommunications giant failed to materialize.  The contract for the New Jersey Verizon employees expired at midnight.  The employees are customer service representatives, technicians, and operators.

COUNTY RUN NURSING HOMES COULD BE SOLD

FIRE DAMAGES CHURCH IN MILLVILLE

A church was damaged in a fire that took place at the First Assembly of God Church on the 1700 block of Wheaton Ave. on Tuesday night. An investigation is on-going, but there is no clear indiction as to how the fire began. No injuries were reported. Multiple fire crews responded to the scene.
